FISHING TOURNAMENT!

The United Methodist Men of First United Methodist Church in Liberty warmly invite the entire community to a fun-filled evening of fishing, food, and fellowship.

Join us on August 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at 644 South Fayetteville Street, Liberty, NC, for a family-friendly community fishing event designed especially for children and youth. Young anglers under the age of 16 can participate in a friendly fishing contest, with $10 gift certificates awarded for the biggest fish, smallest fish, and most fish caught.

No equipment? No problem. The United Methodist Men will provide bait and have eight fishing rods available for children who need them.

After fishing, gather around the firepit and enjoy free hot dogs, drinks, chips, and all the fixings. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with neighbors, enjoy the outdoors, and share in a joyful community experience.
